StructArk Policy
Terms of Service
Effective Date: May 28, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of StructArk, including the web app, related free tools, engineering reference content, and AI-powered features. By using StructArk, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Service scope
- StructArk is a browser-native structural engineering platform for BIM, deterministic linear FEA workflows, and engineering exports.
- StructArk also provides free side offerings, including public engineering tools and reference content.
- Project files are local-first and generally remain on your device unless you explicitly export or share them.
2. Pricing and access
- StructArk core workflows are free to use, including modeling, analysis, and standard exports.
- AI features are paid through AI Credits. There is no free tier for paid AI usage.
- Credits are purchased and deducted based on AI usage. Credit terms, pricing, and no-refund rules are defined in the Credits Policy and Payment Policy.
- StructArk may update pricing, packages, and billing mechanics at any time. Updates apply prospectively.
3. Accounts and authentication
- You are responsible for activities under your account and for keeping your account access secure.
- StructArk uses Supabase Auth with Google OAuth for sign-in flows.
- You must provide accurate information and may not impersonate another person or organization.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts for abuse, fraud, legal violations, or repeated policy breaches.
4. Engineering responsibility and professional judgment
- StructArk provides software tools, not final legal design certification.
- AI outputs and FEM results can contain limitations, assumptions, simplifications, or errors and may not be 100% complete or correct for your specific project.
- You, as the engineer/user, are responsible for independently reviewing, checking, and verifying calculations, model assumptions, code compliance, and final design decisions before use in practice.
- Final jurisdiction-specific checks, legal approvals, and construction detailing remain your responsibility or that of the engineer of record.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to use StructArk lawfully and professionally. You must not use the platform to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or court order.
- Harm, harass, threaten, intimidate, or defame StructArk owners, employees, contractors, partners, or other users.
- Attempt unauthorized access, data extraction, scraping, disruption, malware distribution, denial-of-service activity, or security bypass.
- Reverse engineer, copy, or misuse platform code, models, systems, or proprietary workflows except where required by applicable law.
- Use AI prompts or generated content to produce illegal, dangerous, hateful, or intentionally harmful engineering guidance.
6. AI-specific conditions
- AI functionality requires available credits and service availability.
- AI features may be unavailable in stale installs until the app is updated.
- You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated model edits, reports, text, calculations, and recommendations before relying on them.
- We may block prompts or outputs that violate safety, legal, or community standards.
7. Intellectual property
- StructArk and its licensors retain all rights in the platform, including software, branding, and service design.
- You retain rights to content you upload or create, subject to limited rights needed for us to operate and secure the service.
- You must have rights to any content, data, or files you upload and may not infringe others' intellectual property.
8. Third-party services
StructArk relies on third-party infrastructure and providers, including Supabase (auth/data services), Google (OAuth sign-in), and Paddle (payments). Their services are subject to their own terms and policies.
9. Disclaimers
- StructArk is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular project, jurisdiction, or engineering standard.
- You remain responsible for independent engineering verification and final professional judgment.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StructArk and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the platform. Any liability that cannot be excluded will be limited to the minimum extent permitted by applicable law.
11. Enforcement and termination
We may investigate violations and take appropriate action, including content removal, warnings, feature restrictions, account suspension, or termination.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms to reflect legal, product, or operational changes. We will post updates on this page and revise the effective date when changes are made. We may not notify you of significant changes in advance. We recommend that you review these Terms regularly. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
